Islamabad: The political and military leadership of the National Security Committee chaired by the Prime Minister agreed to give a befitting reply to Indian aggression.
Nawaz Sharif chaired a meeting of the National Security Committee.The chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General Rashid Mahmood, General Raheel Shareef,three armed forces chiefs, including the minister, provincial chief ministers, interior, defense and finance ministers, DG ISI, DG MI and DG MO International, national security advisor, Prime Minister's special assistant for Foreign Affairs and Foreign Secretary were also present.
DG ISI Lt Gen Rizwan Akhtar situation od LoC in occupied Kashmir, Director General Military Operations of the Indian aggression on the Line of Control and the Secretary of State's gave the briefing on visit of the Prime Minister to the US and UN including on the efforts of highlighting the Kashmir.
National security, internal and external security situation was reviewed at the committee meeting. While the militry authorities gave briefing on preparations for the monitoring system and the Indian military ambitions on borders.
National Security said in a statement released after the meeting, it expressed satisfaction with the military preparations for the meeting of the National Security Committee and civil and military leadership agreed to give a befitting reply to Indian aggression.The statement further said that the military is ready for any adventure against India,India claims surgical strike is false and absurd,Pakistan can not bend the hollow claims and aggression,Border and Line of Control tension can not remove focus from the fight against terrorism.
Statement said that Pakistan has no aggressive designs against any country or nation,The nation stands of the armed forces,Defense will be ensured at all costs..According to the statement of National Security Committee,India to resolve the Kashmir issue for durable peace in the region,Pakistan and Kashmir are indivisible, So they can not be separated,Pakistan will continue moral, diplomatic and political support to Kashmiris.
